Cheetoh Pulls the Fire Wood

He no longer wants to be called Jaguar. He is a Cheetoh. No, not a Cheetos, like the chips, but a male cheetah. Notice his mixture of Spanish and English =)
Anyways, last week we met up with a friend at the park so the children could play together.

They found a broken branch and they were playing with it, showing us how strong they are. As we are walking back home, Arden starts to drag the branch home.
"That's a big branch. Why do you want to take it home?"
"To make fire wood."
"We have lots of fire wood at home."
"Paka and daddy need it. They'll like it. "
"How are you going to take this home? We don't have a car, and it doesn't fit in the stroller."
"You can carry it."
"I don't think so. I have to push the stroller. Why don't you leave it here?"
"I'll carry it."
"All the way home?"
"Yes."
And so he did. He carried it for about 4 1/2 blocks, across a busy street, until we got home. There were no complaints from him and he even kept up with my pace...well, I did slow down for him.
He never ceases to surprise me.

Awww, that is adorable! I especially loved the mixture of spanish and english to create "cheeto". That is so cute. He's a very determined kid!
