After the park, we went on a long urban hike to Chedraui to buy breads, drinks, and some things for Eliza's party and the house.

Afternoon at the park
Our second week here the kids were getting a bit bored planning parties and running errands with the moms. They were starting to argue with each other more, so one afteroon, I took my kids and Pamela with me over to a big park, not too far from our house. We spent a few hours there and had a great time. It was a good change for a few hours. The park was big enough we planned on returning and playing at another section.
We even checked out their library, which is in the building on the back of the first photo. The building was more impressive than the library. I love going to libraries and this one was a bit disappointing. The children's section doesn't open during the week...only on Saturday. Also, their books were so worn out and falling apart. I guess that means they're being used or are too poor to afford new books. I guess they're lucky to have a library and I shouldn't critique it. I'm hoping one of these Saturdays we can go check out the children's area.
