I don't know about other families, but I try to kind of plan ahead and do things in a timely manner, but it seems like the month of December just passes by so quickly.
This year, I thought I was on the ball. I even made some of the gifts ahead of time...but mid-December was here and I hadn't even sent out the Christmas cards.
So, on a lovely Sunday afternoon, we were dressed for church and I decided it was the perfect time to take our family Christmas picture.
Unlike last year, this year, it only took two clicks to get THE shot. However, before we got the right shot, I tried to get some good photos of the kids.

Thank goodness for Brother Alsop and Brother Zane who helped us nail this shot.
