| On the enlistee's bed |
Our first stop, Las Vegas. Grandma and Paka flew from FL to meet with us in Las Vegas and go on this adventure with us. It was so nice to see them again. We spent the night at the Tuscany and the following morning we drove to San Diego...straight to the USS Midway.
This is our family's third visit and the battleship is still impressive.
I got lost a couple of times and couldn't find our party. It was so fun to be experiencing this with the cousins.

After our visit to the Midway, we headed to Hotel California. We had dinner and then went for a swim. We were loving the swim. Can you believe it? Swimming in December!

Fantastic, Karen! I just love reliving this adventure. We watched a segment of American Idol that was taped on the Midway. It was funny because of all the ship and jet noise in the background while they were filming.
