Gingerbread Houses

Halfway in December, we got together at Helen's house for another family tradition...gingerbread houses.  This year, I glued the houses ahead of time with melted sugar...it works better than icing. There were all kinds of designs.  The children were such good artists.  They were on candy overload.  After decorating, we had a healthy dinner.
I'm really enjoying family traditions.
