What was I thinking when I agreed to make Arden's costume this year. He wanted to be a three-headed Pea Shooter from a computer game he's obsessed with...Plants vs. Zombies. I tried to convince him to be something that I could buy at the store...but nothing else interested him. The only costume I found online was sold in Europe for 180 Euros. I wasn't going to pay that much for a costume...so the labor began. It was a bit of work trying to figure out how to make it, but I finally figured it out with some online research. I think the costume cost me less than $15, but several hours of work. I hope next year he wants to be something simple, like an action figure. I think Arden was happy with the results.

Maya decided to be a princess ballerina. She looked really cute and fit right in with her other princess dressed cousins.

After going out Trick-or-Treating, we lit up our jack-o-lanterns. A few days before Halloween we carved our pumpkins.  |

That costume is too funny! I am so impressed! Excellent... Did you think this might turn into a business? Was there any orders from seeing Arden's creation?
