On a Hike

One morning we were feeling adventurous, so we made German Pancakes.  It was a hit at our house.  The kids loved them and devoured them.

Fall was amazing this year.  The colors were perfect. I had to get out and hike...even if it was a short one.

It was such a lovely morning.  We played by a creek and just loved taking in the beauty of the season.

At first the kids didn't want to hike...but I think it's because we are out of practice.  This year we didn't hike as much as in the past.  As we kept walking, they started to enjoy themselves. I think I was probably annoying them with all of the requests for posing.
