Butterfly Mayita and other stuff

On one of those "hot" days, we were hanging out over at my parents' house. Arden so kindly decided to share his butterfly wings (perhaps he decided to share them since they were too small on him) with Mayita.

He dressed Mayita up and in an instant she transformed into a beautiful butterfly.

Look, she's flying.

Okay, I have to post this photo of Arden picking the mangoes. My dad fought off squirrels and neighbor's cat for weeks so by the time we would arrive to FL, there would be some mangoes available for picking.
Arden enjoyed picking the mangoes and they tasted yummy.

Thank goodness for pools and beaches in FL. My friend Michelle, children, and I went swimming. These were Arden's friends whom he still remembered from when we lived in FL. He really liked playing with Gabby and Payson (not pictured). Maya and I enjoyed getting to know their newest sibling, Miley.

One of my dad's favorite things to do with babies is feeding them. Mayita really liked my dad, since he would always feed her something. She could always count on that. If anyone has seen her eat, she's hilarious. My dad had the best time feeding her. A couple of times, she ate so much, she threw up, and then went back for more food.

I don't know whose eating genes she got, mine or Newel's.
