The Tuesday after we got back from Miami, we celebrated mom's birthday. She had the day off from work, so we decided to hit the beach. I love going to Anna Maria Island. It's a great beach for families. It has lots of shades it's by the shore, and there are no big waves. Great for little jaguars who are learning to swim.

We walked to the bridge and looked for fishes.
We found several fishes and that made Arden excited. I think this is where started to say he'd like to go fishing.
Do NOT zoom in to this photo! Yes, it's me wearing a bathing suit, and I don't want to make anyone sick. I wanted to show you the "mommy boat train" the kids rode on the way back from the bridge.

After the beach, we ate lunch at the Sandbar. It was yummy. This was also the place Newel worked when I met him. That evening, I made my mom a Mexican style carne asada with some green salsa and other stuff. My brother picked out this delicious rich chocolate cake, that I'm gaining weight by just looking at the picture.
And of course, after eating cake, I asked (forced) all of us present to take a family photo.

What a beautiful family! :) I love Anna Maria. It is so peaceful to sit by the beach. The picture of Arden with the sunglasses is hilarious. He is such a cool dude!
